The second day will be from Mai Chau to Moc Chau. At Mai Chau valley, you can not only enjoy the dawn but also admire the majestic beauty of the land with the fancifulness of the thin fog and golden sunshine as pouring the honey down the land if you get up early. You also can walk in the village to observe the daily lives of the ethnic people before starting a new journey to Moc Chau. We are sure you can’t keep your eyes off green tea plantation hills kissing the sky on the road.
If it is the grain season in Mai Chau, you can ride to Ban Lac and Pom Coong to feel the beauty of the rustic villages and the gold plain and snap stunning photos here. In Moc Chau, you can freely choose places to visit because there are a variety of selections for you. However, the area behind the pine forest is the most famous and outstanding one, particularly a village called Pa Phach, with dozens of hectares of flowers blooming in white color. It is considered an addictive place for tourists to check in and a romantic one for couples to date.
From Moc Chau Farm Town, it takes about 2 km from Highway 2 to Ang village. Ang village is so gorgeous that it is described as a water painting with a traditional stilt house hidden under the green leafy canvas. The beauty of Ang village is even more charming and romantic due to the tea hills, green pastures, blooming flowers such as apricot blossoms, and white flowers of Moc Chau plateau from a far distance.
The road to Pa Phach is quite dangerous. You must cross over the steep slopes to reach the top, where you can admire a valley of sky-white flowers and magnificent hills. Pa Phach is the home of Thai people, which is also famous for the “paradise of flowers,” with the white flower field stretched horizontally. The climate here is cool due to the terrain between two mountain ranges and forests.
Setting off Moc Chau, our team rides straightly to Phu Yen. On the way to descend Phu Yen, you pass through a large valley and the Black River. The next 50-kilometer road with an uneven surface will be a riding challenge for you. However, you will have a chance to see the rustic villages of both Kinh and other ethnic people on the roadsides. After that, you will cross a little vertical road before passing the village of the Dao people. You will sleep overnight at Phu Yen town for the third-day trip.

The tour from Phu Yen to Vu Linh will depart in the morning. You can choose to ride crossing Hoang Lien Son mountain range to the North of Vietnam from Phu Yen. The name Hoang Lien Son originated because there are many plants in the chain. It also has another name called O Quy Ho by Thai people, meaning “the sky gate”. Hoang Lien Son is 30 km long, 180 km north-southeast, between Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces, and extends west of Yen Bai province. The most impressive is the Fansipan peak, with 3,143 m height, which is renowned as the roof of Indochina.
Alternatively, you can have another selection to ride to Northern Vietnam, passing the undiscovered rainforest areas to have exciting moments. The roads will be easier to ride when passing Ba Be. You also can take a short trip to visit Thac Ba Lake nearby. It takes one hour to sit on a bamboo boat of local people to reach the village of Dzao people. You will have a night at a homestay hosted by kind and hospitable Dzao people.

Vu Linh must be one of the best choices for off-road Vietnam riders when stopping at the riverfront area of Chay River because of its unique nature and the cultural identity of the Dzao longevity. The curve road in the village will lead you to old palm groves, rustic rooftops, and passing some running dogs whirring around the ball. You can taste the traditional food of the local people, such as rice blossoms, banana forest flowers, chicken cooked in bamboo shoots, fish salad, shrimp dumplings, sticky rice, and try Vu Linh liquor. Hands ferment the liquor with fragrant aromas of sticky rice. Everyone will sit around in circles on the floor and tasty dishes in a warm atmosphere. After the fifth and last day of the northern Vietnam Motorbike Tour, you will ride back to Hanoi and say goodbye to your fellow riders.
