Información general
The legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail was a military supply route from North Vietnam through Laos and Cambodia to South Vietnam, stretching over 2000 km long. The trail is a network of roads, including truck routes, pedestrian walkways, and bicycle roadside.
To carry weapons into the hands of communist guerrillas fighting against Us and Southern Vietnamese forces during the war, Vietnam Peopler’s Army had built a private road system. Before having the current name, it was coded 559 and constructed in 1959. 16 years later, the trail deposited over 1 million Vietnamese soldiers from the North and an uncountable volume of supplies to the South battlefields regardless of fierce airstrikes of the American Army.
To offer visitors to Vietnam an adventurous experience alternative to winding routes to North Vietnam, especially when you travel on the back of a motorbike, Vietnam Motorbike Tour Club has designed a short tour on the trail: Ho Chi Minh Trail Motorcycle Tour from Hanoi to Hoi An – 11 days.
- Departure: From 01 person
